A two-day holiday in Itri, in Southern Lazio, riding e-bike to discover archeology and tasting wine

Located in central Italy, between the Gulf of Gaeta and the Aurunci Mountains in Formia, a town with a mild climate chosen by the ancient Romans for their holidays. We will cycle on a comfortable e-bike to discover the Ancient Appian Way and the Temple of Hercules, savoring the typical local products directly at the local businesses.

Description: 
A weekend in the Aurunci Territory, combining wine and archaeology while riding an electric-assist mountain bike, allowing you to enjoy a cycling excursion with minimal effort. You will traverse a highly picturesque section of the Ancient Appian Way and indulge in the typical products of the region. On the second day, we will explore the village of Itri and the ancient Sanctuary of Hercules. Two days immersed in nature and local culinary excellence. Wine tasting at a winery with a lunch featuring regional products.

Who is it for:
We will ride an e-bike on low-traffic trades and easy paths, through the olive groves. You don’t need to be an expert biker, you are only demanded to know how to ride a bicycle on easy dirt roads is enough. It is possible to participate with a pet, for which a special trolley will be provided. The tour is also suitable for children who are at least 140 cm tall and who know how to ride a bike. For children weighing up to 25 kg, it is possible to request a special trolley.

The combination of tourist services offered to you constitutes a package under Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, you will benefit from all the EU rights that apply to packages. Travel Solution Srls will be fully responsible as the organizer for the proper execution of the package as a whole. Additionally, as required by law, Travel Solution Srls has protection to refund your payments and, if transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event of insolvency. If the traveler requests the booking of only transport, accommodation, rental, or any other separate tourist service, it is expressly specified that, as it does not constitute a package holiday, the protections and rights provided by Directive 2015/2302 (some of which are summarized below) and, therefore, the tourism code will not apply. The contractual conditions of the individual service provider, as indicated on the operator’s or provider’s website, to which reference is made, will apply. The Organizer will not be responsible for the proper execution of the booked service, and the responsibility for the correct fulfillment of the contract rests entirely with the provider, whom the traveler must contact in case of non-compliance.
